    Ajuga Reptans Pink Lightning

     Ajuga (also known as Bugleweed) is a perennial landscape plant that has a tight mounding habit of about 6 to 8 inches tall. Ajuga are commonly used as ground covers due to their quick growth and ability to add color to a large area. They are also great in combination planting. The Ajuga that we carry are all very cold-hardy.
     

    Angel Wing Begonia

      The Angel Wing Begonia (also called Dragon Wing) is native to tropical regions and therefore prefers light, humid environments. The more light exposure they receive, the more colorful their leaves will be. Your customers will love the versatility of the Angel Wing as a houseplant because it can be potted and grown as a dwarf (to add interest to counters and desks) or it can be grown as a floor plant (with some varieties reaching up to 5 feet in height 

    Spider Plant

    Chlorophytum (Spider Plants) are native to South Africa. Beautiful houseplants and easy to grow, Chlorophytum are one of the best natural air filters for your home. Attractive leaves grow to 2 feet long with pups (new plantlets) hanging from mature plants.

    Black Knight

     Echeveria Affinis Black Knight is a slow-growing tender perennial succulent native to Mexico and Central America. This variety offers plump, fleshy, dark green to black pointed foliage in rosettes 3-5" tall and 4-6" wide, with bright red flowers on 8" tall stems in fall through winter. Perennial and evergreen in zone 10-11, this plant flourishes as a houseplant or can overwinter in a sunny window in colder climates. Echeveria is low-maintenance, requiring occasional water and full sun with afternoon shade or bright, indirect light to succeed. Add Black Knight's unique foliage and contrast to a container, rock garden, or houseplant collection. 

    Purple Sage

      The herb commonly known as Salvia Officinalis Purple Sage is widely used for its aroma, flavor, and visual appeal in both culinary and ornamental applications. Grow it as a container product or in 4 inch pots for landscape use. 

    Ipomoea

     Originating in Polynesia, Ipomoea Sweet Potato vines are now a mainstay in U.S. landscaping. These fast-growing sun-lovers are best used as groundcovers, mixed container plants, and cascading elements in combination baskets. With strong, vigorous growth and beautiful runners, 

    Purple Fountain Grass

     Purple Fountain Grass is a warm-season grass that will reach a finished height of 30 inches or more. They are good for landscaping or in combination planters if it is a large container. Purple Fountain Grass produce long, wheat-like blooms with purple seedheads that have a fuzzy, hairy feel to them. 

    Purslane- Hot Rose

     Purslane (in the genus Portulaca) are spreading succulents that may have originated in Europe or North Africa. Both our own purslane and our patented portulaca perform well in heat and drought and naturally load up with small, colorful blooms. Use purslane in hanging baskets or as colorful cascading elements in combination planters.

This tender perennial succulent is native to Mexico and Central America. This variety offers dark purple, grey-brown, and deep pink leaves covered in powdery farina that form rosettes 8-10" tall and 6-8" wide. Coral flowers bloom atop a 12" tall stem in summer and fall. Perennial and evergreen in zone 9-11, this plant flourishes as a houseplant or can overwinter in a sunny window in colder climates. Echeveria is low-maintenance, requiring occasional water and full sun with afternoon shade or bright, indirect light to succeed. Add this plant's unique foliage to a container, rock garden, or houseplant collection.  

    Iresine Chicken Gizzard Red

     Chicken Gizzard (also known as Iresine Bloodleaf Plant) is native to Brazil and is an unusual, ever-colorful plant. It has glossy, oval leaves that measure 2 1/2 inches across and are sure to set you apart from the competition. Chicken Gizzard makes a great-looking houseplant, but they can live outside as an annual (or a soft perennial in frost-free zones 10 and 11). These plants can reach heights up to five feet tall, but when grown in a container as an annual you should expect 12-18 inches of growth. The colorful leaves make it a great choice for combination planters or stand-alone baskets 

    Setcreasea Pallida Purple Variegata

      Setcreasea Pallida (also called Purple Heart or Purple Queen) is a tender perennial used as a houseplant or an annual in landscape applications. It makes an interesting piece for a combination planter as it grows upright to a height of 12-18 inches tall. As the plant gets bigger, the stems will cascade under their own weight. Although it produces small pink flowers in the spring, its large purple leaves and stems set it apart from other plants in the houseplant category. In zones 9 and warmer, the frost will kill back the top foliage, but the plants recover quickly in the warmer weather of spring. 

    Dracena Indivisa

     Dracena Indivisa (often called Spike Plant) is a tropical upright cane with cascading leaves that weep over slightly as they grow. This drought-tolerant plant is commonly used in combination plantings to add texture and height to the amalgamation. Dracena Indivisa is low maintenance and has an attractive foliage spread. 

    Plectranthus Swedish Ivy Mint

     Plectranthus (commonly called Swedish Ivy) is a large genus with over 300 species. These evergreen annuals are from Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands. Grown for their colored foliage, these plants are best used in hanging baskets or cascading elements in mixed containers. Our trailing varieties can make well-formed baskets quickly and provide summer sales in the hot months when blooming plants have passed their peak. Preferring partial sun, market these as porch plants with morning or late afternoon sun. 

    Wandering Jew Combo Rhapsody

     Wandering Jew, native to the Tropical Rain Forest, is an herbaceous groundcover that is not only beautiful, but fast and easy to grow. Wandering Jew is a trailing plant that makes a striking hanging basket or ground cover until frost. Foliage of the Wandering Jew grows to be several feet in length, which makes this plant a favorite for horticulture applications. Grow them as part of your summer program, as these vigorous foliage plants will still look great even in the heat of July and August.
